H&F Heating Maintenance Plans: $120 Tune-Up vs. $192 Two-Visit Plan

Compare H&F Heating and Cooling’s Pottstown, PA maintenance plans by equipment, visits, and published annual price.

By How we research prices

H&F Heating and Cooling in Pottstown, Pennsylvania publishes five Family Plan prices. An A/C Family Plan is $120 per year for one cooling tune-up; a Heat Family Plan is $120 for one furnace, heat-pump, or gas-boiler tune-up. The combined Heat & A/C Family Plan is $192 per year for two visits. Oil equipment is priced separately at $312 for oil-only and $384 for oil plus AC. H&F’s maintenance page lists the covered equipment and benefits.

The combined plan has a visible price difference

If a home needs both an AC and a qualifying furnace, heat pump, or gas boiler, buying the two single-system plans would be $120 + $120 = $240. H&F’s combined plan is $192, so the published difference is $48 per year. That comparison assumes the same household would otherwise buy both single plans and that each visit scope is accepted. It does not assume a repair will occur.

H&F says every plan includes precision tune-ups, a 10% repair discount, a 5% system-replacement discount, waived normal-hours diagnostic fees, a two-year parts-and-labor warranty on repairs made, and priority scheduling. The combined plan states one AC tune-up and one heating tune-up. It is therefore a two-visit maintenance package, not unlimited repair coverage.

Check the equipment wording

The Heat plan includes a furnace, heat pump, or gas boiler. The Oil plan covers an oil boiler or oil furnace and describes an annual cleaning and tune-up. The choice should follow the fuel and equipment actually installed. H&F’s AC repair page describes its cooling checklist as including filters, refrigerant checks, electrical connections, coils, thermostat, drain lines, and airflow measurements. Review the cooling scope.

H&F lists Pottstown, Phoenixville, Collegeville, Royersford, Limerick, and nearby communities as its service area. Before signing, ask whether your address is covered, whether the plan is per system, and whether the stated two-year warranty applies only to repairs H&F performs.
