The useful question is not whether a dishwasher installation is “included.” Ask what the crew is actually agreeing to connect, what parts are supplied, and what happens to the old machine. A standard replacement is usually a short list of existing connections; a hardwired circuit, an inaccessible shutoff, an uneven opening, or cabinet work can move the job into a different quote.

Whirlpool’s delivery page lists a $39 in-home major-appliance delivery charge on its site, while saying availability and checkout pricing vary by address. The same page describes dishwasher installation as supplying a water hose, connecting the drain to the existing system, testing, and hauling packaging. That is a concrete provider example, not a national installation price. What a standard replacement should include

Before comparing totals, write down four separate lines:

A retailer may sell uninstall and haul-away as separate services, or decline a complicated removal. Get the answer in writing because a low installation line can assume an empty opening.

Hardwiring deserves its own question. Whirlpool says local requirements may prevent installation of hardwired products and that checkout will indicate whether only plug connections are supported.
