Accurate Building Inspections: Florida New-Build and Insurance Fees

Accurate Building Inspections lists $450 for new construction, $400 for a residential inspection, and $350 for a condo.

By How we research prices

Accurate Building Inspections publishes Florida inspection prices by property and purpose: $400 starting residential inspection, $350 condo inspection, $400 pre-listing, and $450 new-construction inspection. A luxury inspection up to 2,500 square feet is listed at $550. Read the provider’s pricing.

The new-construction premium over the starting residential inspection is $50 ($450 − $400). The condo option is $50 below the residential starting price ($400 − $350). Those comparisons only hold for the provider’s stated categories; size or scope can change the quote.

The same page lists 4-point and wind-mitigation inspections at $150 each or $250 together as a standalone insurance package. When booked with an eligible new-construction inspection, the pair is instead a $100 add-on. That creates a $550 combined worksheet ($450 + $100), subject to the provider confirming eligibility. The add-on is not offered with its luxury inspection category.

Choose new-construction when the property and phase fit that service, and request the checklist and report timing before booking. Prices were checked September 8, 2026; the provider’s starting-price language requires address confirmation.

Accurate’s pricing page gives the relevant deliverable distinction: a new-construction report is listed at $450 with a 24–48-hour turnaround, while its insurance package is a separate same-day or next-morning product. Read the provider’s current table when the builder handoff and insurance deadlines compete.

Before booking, identify the construction phase: pre-drywall access, final completion and an eleven-month warranty review are different appointments. Ask which phase the $450 service covers, whether the builder permits access and whether a second visit costs extra. If an insurer requests separate reports, use the eligible $100 pair add-on rather than automatically adding the $250 standalone package.

Florida’s regulator says the state licenses and regulates individual home inspectors under Chapter 468 and Rule 61-30. Check the Florida home-inspector FAQ when comparing the $450 new-construction service and confirming the inspector’s license.
