Hartford, CT Synthetic Oil Change Prices: Coupons & Fees

Compare two Hartford full-synthetic coupons, their five-quart limits, September expiry dates, and fees that can change the checkout total.

By How we research prices

The two clearly labeled Hartford full-synthetic offers I found are Aldo Automotive’s $59.97 coupon and Midas at 65 Weston Street’s $70 coupon. Both cover up to five quarts, require the coupon before service, and expire September 30, 2026. The advertised difference is $10.03, but neither price is a guaranteed out-the-door total: extra oil, tax, disposal, and shop charges remain possible. Aldo Automotive’s specials and Midas Hartford’s offer are the documents to save before booking.

The offers side by side

Hartford provider Advertised package Quantity and included work Terms shown on the page
Aldo Automotive, 65 Airport Rd $59.97 full synthetic Up to 5 quarts; the coupon page does not list rotation or inspection in that offer Coupon required; cannot combine; expires 09/30/2026
Midas, 65 Weston St $70 full synthetic Up to 5 quarts; oil and filter change, four-wheel rotation, digital inspection Coupon required; select vehicles; tax, disposal, shop fees and extra parts/services may apply; expires 09/30/2026

Midas’s inspection is more explicit. Its digital inspection includes a visual brake check plus battery, air-filter, fluid, belt, and hose checks, and the offer includes a tire rotation. Those additions make it a different package from Aldo’s five-quart oil-and-filter description; do not call Aldo cheaper for the same scope without asking what the shop includes.

What a six-quart vehicle costs

The observed pages do not publish an extra-quart rate. For an engine needing six quarts, the honest comparison is:

Aldo total = $59.97 + 1 × Aldo’s extra-quart rate + tax/fees

Midas total = $70 + 1 × Midas’s extra-quart rate + tax/fees

Those rates are unknown, so a five-quart coupon cannot answer a six-quart price question. Midas also says TPMS reset is not included and that additional shop fees may apply. Aldo says the coupon is one-time, must be presented before service, and cannot be combined.

Call the branch with the vehicle year, engine, oil capacity, and whether you need the Midas rotation and inspection. Ask for the extra-quart, disposal, shop-fee, and tax treatment in writing. Refresh both pages after September 30; an expired coupon should not be presented as a current price.
