Jackson, Wisconsin Plumbing Permit Fees: Fixtures, Minimums, and Reinspection
Jackson’s 2026 schedule uses $10 fixture connections, a $65 minimum, and $75 first reinspection; scope changes the bill.
Jackson, Wisconsin’s 2026 fee schedule prices plumbing work by scope. It lists drain connections such as sinks, showers, water closets, water heaters, and hose bibbs at $10 each. It also lists a $65 minimum, a first reinspection at $75, and a second reinspection at $100. Read the village schedule.
Four listed fixture connections have a connection component of $10 × 4 = $40, so the $65 minimum controls if no other fee raises the bill. Under that hypothetical, a first failed inspection adds $75 and produces $140 ($65 + $75). The building official’s applicable section controls the actual permit.
Jackson separately lists $60 for an exterior sanitary-sewer connection. Do not combine fixture counts and exterior sewer lines unless the application includes both. Ask whether the plumber files one permit or separate trade permits and who pays a reinspection.
Use the schedule to replace a vague permit allowance with fixture count, minimum, and inspection lines. Prices were checked September 8, 2026; they do not price labor or materials.
List each fixture on the application instead of writing “plumbing remodel.” Jackson names sinks, showers, water closets, water heaters, and hose bibbs separately. Ask when the $65 minimum is replaced by a higher total and keep any $75 reinspection invoice with the permit.
The $60 exterior sanitary-sewer connection is a separate decision from fixture work. If a remodel adds four fixtures but also opens the outside sewer connection, ask the village whether both schedule rows are payable and whether the work is filed as one permit. That answer is more useful than adding every number automatically: the schedule supplies line items, while the building official determines the applicable combination.
Jackson’s permit guidance lists new plumbing, alterations, and repairs to drain, waste, vent, supply, and appliance connections as permit work. Check the village permit guidance before using the fixture rows or the $60 exterior-connection line.
